Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. General Provisions and Seller Identity
This document defines the terms and conditions for purchasing digital content (activation keys) for the WINK Reset PRO software via the winkreset.com website.
The Seller and website operator is: Maciej Trznadel Usługi Informatyczne ul. Joachima Lelewela 26/41, 38-400 Krosno, Poland Tax ID (NIP): PL6842563014 Company Registration No. (REGON): 380654313 Contact email: [email protected]
All brand names, trademarks, manufacturer logos, and device model designations (e.g., Epson®, Canon®) referenced across the website and software utility are the intellectual property of their respective owners. They are used strictly for informational, descriptive, and diagnostic purposes to indicate hardware compatibility under the doctrine of nominative fair use.
2. Digital Goods, Licensing, and Payment Terms
The subject of the sale is a single-use digital activation key (ESD – Electronic Software Distribution) designed to reset the waste ink pad counter in compatible printer models.
- The “1 Key = 1 Successful Reset” Rule: A single activation key entitles the Customer to perform one successful counter reset procedure on one printer device. Once the counter is successfully reset back to 0.0%, the key is consumed and permanently expires. There is no expiration date on when the key must first be used.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Payments for orders are processed securely by external licensed payment processors (for international transactions in USD/EUR: Creem; for PLN transactions: Cashbill S.A.). Customers may pay using the methods supported at checkout (including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and localized instant payment methods).
- No Subscriptions or Recurring Charges: All purchases are strictly one-time payments. The transaction does not involve any automatic renewals, recurring subscriptions, memberships, or hidden recurring fees.
- Instant Delivery: Delivery is fully automated and occurs immediately upon successful payment authorization. The digital key is delivered directly to the email address provided during checkout (available 24/7). No physical media or physical goods will be shipped.
3. Technical Requirements
To properly use the WINK Reset PRO software, the Customer must ensure prior to purchase that their environment meets the following technical requirements:
- A personal computer running Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- A stable Internet connection (required for real-time key validation on the authentication server).
- The printer correctly connected to the computer via a standard USB cable or a local Wi-Fi network.
In order to establish direct communication with the USB interface during the service procedure, the application may temporarily suspend device status monitoring processes (Status Monitor) and print spooler tasks that lock the hardware port.
It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to download the free version of the software before purchase to verify that it communicates properly with their specific printer model (including running the free 85% trial reset).
4. Right of Withdrawal and Complaint Procedure
Due to the nature of the product (digital content not supplied on a tangible medium), an exception to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies under EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and equivalent global consumer regulations.
By purchasing the product and providing prior express consent to immediate digital delivery, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that they lose their statutory right of withdrawal once the performance has begun (i.e. once the digital key has been generated and dispatched).
Notwithstanding the above, the Seller remains legally obligated to supply digital content that is in conformity with the contract and free of defects:
- Complaint Submission Requirements: To ensure swift and accurate processing of any complaint, inquiries sent to [email protected] must include: the purchased activation key, the email address used during checkout, the exact printer model, and a clear screenshot showing the error message in the WINK Reset application.
- Statutory Response Time: The Seller will review and respond to the submitted complaint within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date of its receipt via email.
5. Liability and Physical Hardware Maintenance
WINK Reset PRO is a specialized software utility. The software is designed exclusively to reset the digital counter (Waste Ink Counter) on the printer’s motherboard back to 0.0%.
The software does not physically clean, drain, or replace the physical ink absorbers (waste ink sponges) inside the printer. To prevent ink overflow, desk spills, and irreparable hardware damage, the user is solely responsible for performing physical inspection, cleaning, or replacement of the waste ink sponges in accordance with servicing guidelines.
The Seller accepts no liability for physical hardware malfunctions, ink spills, or electronic short circuits resulting directly from the user’s failure to perform physical hardware maintenance after resetting the software counter.
6. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
The rules governing the collection, processing, and protection of personal data, as well as the Buyer’s statutory privacy rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), are set forth in our Privacy Policy available at winkreset.com/privacy.
7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any matters not regulated by these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland and applicable European Union consumer protection directives.
Consumers residing in the European Union have the right to access out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms. Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform available at: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms. For orders placed prior to any modification, the version in effect at the exact time of purchase shall remain applicable.
